Walk into almost any airport, hospital, stadium, retail store, plant floor, or campus, and you'll find the same thing: hundreds or thousands of cameras, already installed and running, capturing the exact moments that operations, security, and business teams spend hours trying to reconstruct later. The infrastructure is there. The data is there. What's missing is the layer that turns all of that video into something the business can actually search, measure, and act upon.

The organizations positioned to get the most value from this shift aren't necessarily the ones with the newest cameras. They're the ones asking a different question about the infrastructure they already have: what else can it tell us?

For security leaders, the answer may be faster investigations, more relevant alerts, and less time spent monitoring video manually. For operations and facilities teams, it can mean objective visibility into processes that were previously difficult to quantify. And for business leaders, it changes the economics of the camera network itself: infrastructure purchased primarily for security can begin creating value across multiple functions.

That matters because the bottleneck was never simply the number of cameras. Organizations already have enormous amounts of visual information flowing through their existing infrastructure every day. The challenge has been turning that information into something people and systems can actually use.
