Vaidio expands GPU-accelerated, prompt-driven video intelligence and edge-to-cloud deployment options to help telecoms and enterprises operationalize Physical AI at scale

San Jose, CA — March, 16, 2026 — Vaidio, the AI vision platform for operational-scale video intelligence, today announced expanded integration with AI grid architecture powered by NVIDIA—where distributed network infrastructure becomes a geographically scaled inference fabric for real-time AI workloads close to cameras, sensors, and physical operations.

As AI shifts from text-only copilots to agentic systems that perceive and act in the real world, Vaidio is positioning visual data as the informational fabric that enables automated decisions and coordinated action across cities, campuses, transportation hubs, industrial sites, and critical infrastructure.

Nokia AI-RAN Ecosystem Featuring Vaidio

The AI grid also hosts RAN as a workload, making AI-RAN a subset of the grid. Vaidio’s work aligns with Nokia’s continued momentum in AI-RAN with NVIDIA. At Mobile World Congress 2026, Nokia included “Vision AI with reasoning capabilities from Vaidio” among its AI-RAN demonstrations, showcasing how vision workloads can run alongside RAN workloads and help monetize distributed GPU capacity through new AI services.

Vaidio is also testing with T-Mobile to bring physical AI onto their AI-RAN network to address a variety of use cases including facilities management, logistics, safety and security.

Why Vaidio for Physical AI and AI-RAN

The Vaidio Vision AI platform offers operational-grade vision at scale, not point analytics. Vaidio is differentiated by a platform architecture built to run vision AI at enterprise scale and on the AI-enabled network edge with the cost, speed, and governance required for real-world operations:

  • Open and deploy-anywhere: Works with existing camera and VMS environments; supports edge, on-prem, Kubernetes, hybrid, and cloud deployments—enabling low-latency processing where data is generated while preserving centralized control.

  • Real-time + forensic + operational intelligence in one system: Combines real-time alerting, rapid investigative search, and structured video-to-data conversion to power downstream automation and reporting.

  • Multi-model orchestration for best-in-class TCO: Orchestrates highly efficient proprietary object models with more general-purpose language and vision-language reasoning—invoking advanced reasoning selectively while keeping high-volume workloads compute-efficient.

  • Prompt-driven interaction with video and the system (new capabilities): Vaidio has integrated NVIDIA Cosmos-Reason2 VLM and now supports prompt-enhanced search, prompt-created analytics, live scene queries, and prompt-based system queries—enabling intuitive, natural-language interaction across detection, investigation, and operations.

Deep NVIDIA alignment: accelerating blueprints, inference, and edge infrastructure

Vaidio hasbuiltclose technical alignment with AI-RAN enabling technologies from NVIDIA’s vision AI and inference stack, including: NVIDIA Metropolis, NVIDIA DeepStream SDK, NVIDIA TensorRT, NVIDIA Dynamo-Triton and the Metropolis Smart City AI Blueprint.

Vaidio’s platform roadmap continues to expand GPU efficiency, distributed inference readiness, and cloud-native modularity to support large-scale deployments and emerging distributed compute environments—without forcing customers into cloud-only architectures or proprietary camera stacks.

“Physical AI depends on trusted, real-time understanding of what is happening in the physical world—and the ability to operationalize that understanding at scale,” said Vaidio SVP Strategy, Douglas Hammer. “Vaidio is purpose-built to turn video into actionable data and decision-ready intelligence, and we’re aligned with NVIDIA and ecosystem leaders like Nokia as AI-RAN and distributed edge compute make that intelligence available everywhere it’s needed.”
