Vaidio Data: Turning Vision AI into Enterprise Intelligence

Every second, organizations capture massive amounts of video intelligence through the Vaidio AI Vision Platform. Each Vaidio Core node analyzes video streams to detect and classify people, vehicles, objects—producing structured metadata that describes what’s happening across the enterprise. But understanding all that information across multiple sites and systems requires something more.

That’s where Vaidio Data comes in.

Vaidio Data is the analytics layer that connects, synchronizes, and visualizes metadata from multiple Vaidio Core nodes. It transforms distributed video intelligence into one coherent view—enabling teams to see patterns, compare performance, and measure effectiveness across their entire operation.

A Unified View of Every Core Node

Vaidio Data acts as a bridge across the enterprise. It connects directly to each Vaidio Core node, collecting metadata such as alerts, face recognition events, license plate detections, and object counts into one centralized environment.

Each Core node becomes a data source, or “node,” inside Vaidio Data. Administrators can add and manage these nodes easily through the system interface—viewing status, IP address, connection time, and software versions from a single pane of glass.

Once connected, Vaidio Data continuously synchronizes this information, ensuring every dashboard, chart, and metric reflects the most current reality across all sites.

Dashboards Built for Decisions

Inside Vaidio Data, users can create custom dashboards that visualize live and historical analytics from any connected Vaidio Core. Dashboards can display trends such as alert frequency, traffic volume, occupancy levels, or vehicle classification counts—all organized by time, object type, or location.

Teams can start with predefined templates (for Alerts, Face Recognition, License Plate Recognition, and Object Counting) or design entirely new dashboards from scratch. Each chart is interactive and filterable, allowing users to drill down by date range, camera, or analytic type to uncover deeper insight.

This flexibility makes it easy to compare sites, track change over time, and identify where security or operational improvements are working—and where they’re not.

Visual Intelligence for Every Environment

Vaidio Data supports a wide range of visualization types—from simple column and line charts to scatter plots, heatmaps, and pivot tables. Each chart is powered by structured metadata from Vaidio Core and can be customized to display precisely what matters to a given team.

For smart city and traffic management deployments, Vaidio Data includes specialized charts for travel time, pedestrian and vehicle turn counts, and signal-phase correlations. These tools reveal how people and vehicles move through intersections, how traffic signals affect flow, and where congestion or delay occurs, helping cities make better data-driven infrastructure decisions.

Camera Awareness, at Scale

Vaidio Data also provides a Camera Overview interface that brings together every connected stream across all nodes. From a single dashboard, users can see the total number of active cameras, which AI Engines are running, and the relative usage of each analytic type.

Pie charts and bar graphs show how Vision AI workloads are distributed across Core nodes, while an interactive map displays camera locations and thumbnails for instant situational awareness.

This consolidated camera intelligence makes it easy for administrators to manage multi-site environments without losing visibility into performance or uptime.

Collaboration and Access Control

Vaidio Data is built for teams. Administrators can create user groups and assign roles (Editor or Viewer) to ensure the right people have the right level of access. Dashboards can be shared with individual users or entire groups, allowing analysts, security teams, and executives to collaborate around the same data without duplicating effort.

Smart System Management

Behind its intuitive interface, Vaidio Data includes tools for robust system administration. Users can configure storage retention policies, monitor space utilization, and define automatic cleanup rules that balance storage efficiency with long-term data retention.

The platform also supports web service port customization and GUI theme selection, letting organizations adapt Vaidio Data to their operational environment and brand identity.

From Data to Strategy

At its core, Vaidio Data is more than a dashboard tool. It’s the layer that transforms Vision AI outputs into enterprise-wide intelligence.

By aggregating analytics from every Vaidio Core, it allows organizations to:

  • Understand trends across time and location
  • Benchmark performance across facilities or regions
  • Uncover bottlenecks and safety risks before they escalate
  • Make data-driven decisions with confidence

Vaidio Data turns the outputs of Vision AI into the inputs for strategic action.

The Insight Layer of Vision AI

Where Vaidio Core delivers analysis, Vaidio Data delivers understanding. It’s the insight layer that connects distributed Vision AI systems into a single source of truth—enabling enterprises, cities, and critical infrastructure operators to see not just what’s happening, but why.

By transforming raw metadata into clear, visual intelligence, Vaidio Data helps organizations move from monitoring to measurement, from reaction to optimization, and from visibility to true effectiveness.
